Jeff Martin

Prior to joining the firm, Jeff served with the San Jose Police Department, retiring as a sergeant after twenty-five (25) years of service. As an employee representative for the San Jose Police Officers' Association, Jeff spent many years assisting members accused of misconduct.  As an associate with the firm, Jeff continues his tireless work advocating on behalf of accused officers in critical incidents, disciplinary cases, and in efforts to get officers names removed from Brady lists.  

A highly sought after court-recognized expert in police practices, Jeff routinely assists police officers throughout the country in cases involving pursuit decision-making, uses of force, human factors, defensive tactics, and the TASER.  Additionally, Jeff serves as a staff consultant to the Force Science Institute, and as a contract "Daily Training Bulletin" author for Lexipol.
